Come out this Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to see the long awaited school plays: Picnic and The Glass Menagerie. Picnic will be performed on Wednesday and Friday, and The Glass Menagerie will be performed on Thursday and Saturday. Show times are at 7:00 p.m. and admission is $8.
"Everyone has worked really hard on it, and I think it's going to turn out really well," sophomore Sophie Neff said. Neff plays Madge Owens, one of the leading female roles in Picnic.
Theater teacher Corrie Davis will be directing Picnic, and theater teacher Kee Strong will be directing The Glass Menagerie. Strong is very proud of her students' work in such a challenging play. "The level that they have gotten to at this age, in a Tennessee Williams play, is astonishing," Strong said.
